Fun Friday

Ciara had Fall Break on Friday, so I took her to my parents in New Castle. I had a training that day in New Castle and Ciara loves to spend time with my parents. Kaeden was scheduled to come over after school for a play date. When I arrived after work, my mom had to share what happened that day. Kaeden loves to make up concoctions and decided he wanted to make a snack Ciara. Mom let him have some veggies: broccoli, peas, carrots and tomatoes. He put all this in a bowl and sprinkled shredded cheese on top. He popped it in the microwave and viola...instant snack! While it was cooling on the table, mom and Kaeden left the room with Kaeden begging for more food. He didn't think it was enough for both of them.
Meanwhile, Ciara saw the "snack" and decided to try it out. It was so good she ate all of it and was licking the bowl when mom and Kaeden returned. Needless to say, Kaeden wasn't too happy about not getting a snack but Ciara sure enjoyed it!

Later, we took the kids to Big Bounce and let the kids play for a while. They played hard, got rosy cheeks and wore themselves out! Mom and I even played some games. It's a nice place for kids.
