Snakes Alive!!!

Our county library has special events from time to time. A couple of weeks ago they had "Snakehead Ed" come to teach about...snakes of course. I don't really care for snakes, but I must admit they are a bit fascinating. So, Ciara and I went to see the snakes and we did have a fun time. We learned how to tell if a snake is venomous. There is a little rhyme: "Red next to black you're safe Jack, Red next to yellow you're a dead fellow". Cute huh? Snakehead Ed said we don't have any venomous snakes in Indiana anymore and I hope he's right! I took a few pics of the snakes. Enjoy!

How neat. Connor would have loved that, of course. I'll have to show him these pictures in the morning.
