Many of you know that my mother is from Germany. I've been privileged to have been there four times. When we did travel there, we always brought back souvenirs of the country. Mom had bought me a couple of "dirndls", which is a native costume for girls in Germany. Sometime ago, mom found three of the dirndls and Ciara wore one when she was two and now another one at four. They tend to wear them a little short over there, so Ciara had to wear them a bit earlier. The blue dirndl is actually one my sister Sharra wore as a little girl. When she gets a little bigger she will have one more to wear. Ciara really enjoyed wearing it, especially when she knew mommy had worn it too.
