1st Grader

Ciara went back to school as a...1st Grader! It seems like yesterday she was just in preschool. I've always heard that time seems to go faster as we get older; I think that is true. Ciara is in a bigger school this year and now will eat at school. She thinks that is pretty neat. They have a system at this school that all the children have money in their accounts and that is how they pay for the meals. Ciara has a pin number she'll type in when she "pays" for her meal and this will take the amount out of the account. She was a little nervous at first, but I told her the lunch ladies will help out until they memorize the number. Real techno, huh?
